A hugely successful night was had last Friday the 28th of Feb in The Local for the annual camogie quiz night. Great fun was had on the night and we managed to raise more than €2,000 for our girls. 
We would like to sincerely thank all of the participants on the night as well as our many sponsors who donated prizes for our raffles. To the people who couldn’t make it but purchased online raffle tickets, we are very grateful for all of your support. 

Our winning team on the night was Rory Longe, Eamon Griffin, John McGuane, James Hehir and Niamh Keane.  Followed closely by our second placed team of Ann Clohessy, Paula Madigan, John Brosnan and Kieran O’Boyle. Both teams very generously donated back their winnings to Ballyea Camogie. 

Huge thanks to our brilliant MC’s on the night, Ronan and Jacko who brought pure fun and lots of laughs to the event. Dermot Sheedy looked after our sound on the night which brought a really professional element to proceedings. 
As always, we where welcomed with open arms by our fabulous hosts, Helen and Derrick O’Connor of The Local Inn who made sure we had a wonderful venue for the night.
